In New Zealand, it rains. A lot. It's rained constantly since we evacuated from the Abel Tasman six days ago. In the 35 days we've been back in NZ it has rained for 15 days... not counting the occasional showers here and there on other days. That's 15 days of pouring rain, waking up with rain drops on the van roof, going to bed with rain drops on the van roof and driving, waiting and pottering in rain. 42% of the time we've been here, it has rained to an extent that it is unpleasant to be outside. Rain, rain, rain. New Zealand, a rain lover's paradise.
But not to worry... on the South Island, if it rains in the West, then it's fin in the East!
