Yes... raining today as we headed south on the Bluebridge ferry, though it was all very exciting driving the little van on the ferry... Bluebridge ferry was very good, and extra hurrah for being $50 cheaper than the Interislander. Stayed in Havelock, the green mussel capital of the world and ate mussels at al lovely place called the Slipway Cafe! Poured with rain for the following two days that took us up to Nelson and to prepare for the Abel Tazman and pray for sunshine!!! More pics here!

Crossing the Cook Straight - 8th October
